The World Pool Series(WPS)  is happy to announce that all of the broadcasts for our remaining three events in 2017 will now be offered free and live to the public.

And you won’t have to wait long to get your fix of the best pros in the world slugging it out in the very best of 8-ball as our next event is just a few weeks away. The Aramith Masters will take place April 5-8, at Steinway Billiards in Queens, New York City.

Fans who tune in will be greeted with several new twists in our live stream broadcast, all aimed at upgrading the quality of the WPS brand and taking pool to new audiences around the globe. Our production team, Highrock Productions, Inc. has invested in a cache of new equipment that will showcase the game in high definition and from new and unique camera angles.

Unilad, one of the world’s largest social media platforms, will be broadcasting the WPS live on its popular Facebook page

In addition to the new look stream, the WPS has partnered with Internet powerhouse UNILAD, who have agreed to take the WPS stream feed and broadcast it live via their massively popular Facebook platform. Launched in 2014, UNILAD is one of the biggest global platforms for breaking news, shareable and relatable content. Unilad has a Facebook following of over 18 million fans, 32 million monthly unique visitors to the website and over 3 billion video views a month.

For April’s Aramith Masters, Unilad will be streaming the main matches for several hours a day on their Facebook Page. Other matches will be streamed live on the WPS Facebook page, and the World Pool Series website——which is currently getting a major makeover.

“We are truly excited about these latest developments in our live stream,” said WPS founder and multi-world champion Darren Appleton. “First of all, to be able to offer all of our streams for free means more people from around the world can enjoy the excitement of the World Pool Series at absolutely no cost.

“Secondly, the team at High Rock Productions has some great things in store in terms of the look and feel of the streams and this will really enhance the viewers’ experience.

“And what’s even more exciting is our new partnership with Unilad. This has the potential to take the WPS and pool in general to heights the sport has never seen. We are truly excited about the future of the WPS.”

The WPS will have more details about the stream and Unilad’s broadcast schedule in the coming days.

For those fans that purchased the full season streaming package, refunds will be issued for the remaining three events. To arrange your refund, please contact Manny Stamatakis at Steinway Billiards at
